I thought I would continue with the prayer theme and this was sent to me. I hope you like it
"Something powerful happens whenever we bless anybody, even in the innocence of a children's prayer.Blessing others is very serious business with God.Take a moment to reflect and believethat every blessing you utter
will come to pass."
What a wonderful thought. I need to do that more often. Think of blessing people instead of condemning things that may not go my way.

Great blog tonight! And you are right, blessing others IS very serious business with God! St. Paul's second letter to the church in Corinth says this: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and God of all encouragement, who encourages us in our every affliction, so that we may be able to encourage those who are in any affliction with the encouragement with which we ourselves are encouraged by God.
For as Christ's sufferings overflow to us, so through Christ does our encouragement also overflow. 2 Corinthians 1:3-5 (NAB)
See?! God gives us a blessing, but then expects us to pass that blessing along to someone else because of what we first experienced through Him. It's the greatest ripple effect ever! When I lift someone up with the same joy that I myself have been lifted up with, I find I get a double blessing, first from God and next from the person I blessed.
Spread some joy today and be a blessing!
